Here is John and his new ride meeting us in Colton, CA on September 14, 2010. The next day we all rode to the Santa Monica Pier where we were met by Jim Conkle (Publisher of Route 66 Pulse and many other titles) who spoke to us for a little while.  You see John right there in the front row.He loved Route 66 and his people that road it.  Here he is helping a lady with her coat. This was our complete group plus a few from different countries.Here we all are at the end of the Santa Monica Pier, you can tell from the background, it was very foggy.The large picture above is the last picture I took of John.  He was always one to join on the fun.  He is holding a picture of Jim Engling's girlfriend April.  April was not able to make the trip so Jim brought along a picture of her and we took pictures of her everywhere and she was known as Flat April.  John loved it.

Below are a couple picture from 2009 Ride for the Relay.  The first picture was in Barstow, CA.  John rode out and spent the night with us then went with us to the Santa Monica Pier the next day.  The second picture was John in Bubba Gump's and all the people in the back ground are part of our Ride for the Relay family.
