We are the Durhams,  Hugh and Sue are from Sugar Grove, Illinois.  Hugh started riding motorcycles in 1955.  Hugh has had numerous bikes through the years (mostly touring bike's).  He now has a 1990 Goldwing with 120,000 + miles on it, due to health issues do not ride long rides any more.  That is why Hugh took the car this year.

Hugh owned his gas station for 38 years in Berwyn, Illinois, he is now retired.
  

Sue bought her first bike and got her motorcycle license in 1978.  She  started on a KZ 1000 and since 1996 has been riding Honda Goldwing Trikes.  She now rides a 2001,  she has more that 120,000 miles on my trikes.  She is retired from International Harvester/ Navistar.

In Her words:

Hugh and I travel with Hugh's brother Bruce Durham.  Bruce still lives in Berwyn and sold his BMW this year. He has giving up riding also due to health issues, so he joined Hugh in the car for this trip.

This was an awesome trip, we have been on several long trips and this one is in the top three.  We really appreciate the opportunity to travel with this group and experience the planning, effort and work that goes into making a trip like this happen.

I asked Sue if she would ride again next year.  I don't think I got a no but I didn't get a real positive yes.  She did say that Hugh and Bruce wouldn't make the trip again.
