Denver, CO to Hays, KS (348 miles)
Yesterday the snow was bad for
about 50 miles. Today at least 248 miles were terrible.
It was 47 degrees when I left Denver and it never got any warmer until about 2pm
this afternoon when
the rain and storms started. Check the pictures, the hail storm when
I was coming into Hays just hurt.
My day started with Aunt Bea
wanting to be a biker chick
I stopped on the outskirts of
Denver and took one last look at the snow covered mountains
I stopped somewhere along the way
for a little lunch and got talking to farmer/ranchers and
they were telling me about this 16 row corn picker they had built. So I
went and took a look at it.
It is for real and they have cut several acres of
corn with it.
Back on the road and all heck broke
loose
Then the hail broke loose and it hurt
Then more rainbows
Oh yaw it all looks pretty now but you should have
been there.
