September 3, me getting to Chicago by way of Dekalb, Illinois
This year I started a day early because I was getting some
lights put on my bike in Dekalb, Illinois
As you can see my bike was taken apart in pieces, light added and then put back
together. I have included a picture of my friend Bumpers riding companion
Bumper added my lights, his girlfriend adding nothing. From there we went
to Dekalb's GWRRA Chapter meeting where I spoke about the Ride for the Relay.
When the meeting was over I headed into Chicago and got check into my room
and got it set up for the next day.

Chicago the day before (September 4th) and spending the night before in Chicago is the beginning of fun.
Several riders and a Red Mustang arrived in Chicago the night before and we all
took a trip down to Del Rhea's Chicken Basket dinner (Supper in some parts).
This
was just a crazy picture of Ed and it just happened that every guy in the
picture is part of the All the Way Gang.
We just going into Del Rhea's when Eric and Brenda from Tulsa showed up.
As you can see everyone enjoyed the evening meal, then back to the Motel and a
good nights sleep before the early morning tomorrow.
Bobby "Road Kill" Taylor missing his wife Dixie who couldn't make the trip this
year.
