Route 66 Arizona metal signSeptember 15, 2006  9am Leaving Winslow, Arizona.  I could not get on the internet last night.  This morning (Sept 16) they let me hook to their cable at the front desk.  So I can use it long enough to type this message, check my eMails and that is about it.  I will post again, I hope, tonight.

Here are a few more pictures of my room at the La Posada Motel in Winslow, AZ.  Notice I stayed in Jimmy Stewart's room.

Williams, AZ was a cool little town.  Be sure to stop in this town if you are traveling old Route 66.

I lost my notes about this town, I don't remember the name, but it was fun as you can tell from the pictures.  That old milk truck is included because I drove a truck just like that for Steffen's Dairy out of Wichita, Kansas right after I got out of the Air Force, yes I was a milkman.

The Brunswick Hotel in Kingman, AZ is a must.  You will love the people and it is like stepping back in history.  The first three pictures are of my room, then shots around the hotel.

A couple shots in Kingman, AZ.  Check the flags on my motorcycle, it was windy.
