July 19th, Sue and I were married 3 years. Early in our relationship we realized that we were both cancer survivors of 16 years. We both wanted to give back some way, so we got involved in the "Relay For Life". This coming year will be our third year of having a team and raising money for the American Cancer Society. We have a "Prime Rib Banquet" each year on the Sunday before Valentine's Day. This has proved very successful along with different fund raisers that our Team does all year long. However, this coming year we wanted to double our fund raising and I wanted to take a trip on my motorcycle to California, so it was "Hello Route 66", we can raise money doing this. The idea was born.
You can be involved in many different ways. Below is a list of the different types of Sponsorship's available.

Make
all checks payable to American Cancer Society or Relay for Life Jacksonville,
IL.
100% of all donations will go to charity.
I pay 100% of all my expenses.
A Corporate Sponsor will receive a full page ad, and a link to their web site,
on our web site. They will receive special mention at all functions when
possible. They will also receive a special picture CD
of the trip and a big thank you for helping find the "CURE".
A Gold Sponsor will donate $66 in advance of the trip and donate another $66
after I finish the trip. They will also be listed on my Web Site and will
join a list of very special supporters that will make the "CURE"
possible.
A Silver Sponsor will be someone donating $66 in advance of my trip. They
will also be listed on my web site and will join a list of very special
supporters that will make the "CURE" possible.
This group of supporters/friends/relatives and people wanting to find a
"CURE" will be riding/walking/driving/running along with me on the "Ride
for the Relay". You can go with me the whole trip or 10 feet, it
doesn't make a difference. We want you to be there and support us.
There will be a special page on the web site for everyone who joins us.
If you can't be a sponsor, that
is okay, give us a prayer and your best wishes.
